About the role

Under the guidance of our Strategy Director, you’ll work on campaigns that make a meaningful difference to people’s lives – campaigns that recruit more foster carers, tackle discrimination in the workplace, boost charitable donations and much, much more.

You work will raise awareness of important issues, change behaviours and inspire action.

You’ll also contribute to our marketing and new business efforts – to help establish Eleven as the go-to creative agency for clients in the charity, education, health and social care and public sectors.

This role is ideal for a Junior Planner with 2+ years’ experience looking for that next step.

Responsibilities

Conduct desk and primary (qual and quant) research and analyse the findings.
Develop strategic insights and distil them into concise presentations and creative briefs that inspire effective creative work.
Develop campaign blueprints and channel plans to activate our strategies.
Direct and manage media partners to implement our strategies.
Work alongside clients and colleagues to build a culture of marketing effectiveness and measurement.
Analyse data to inform and optimise campaign strategies.
Contribute insights and approaches to help us win new business for the agency.
Support colleagues with developing and delivering client presentations and pitches.
Contribute to proprietary thinking, research, blog posts and events that help our clients answer their big challenges and position Eleven as a thought leader.
Maintain an awareness of relevant market trends and share these across the agency.
Contribute to the agency’s culture of innovation and social responsibility to help make Eleven an even better, more effective place to work.

Experience

  • 2+ years creative/digital/marketing agency experience in a planning/strategy role.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to planning.
  • Good understanding of social media strategy and campaign planning.

Application

We will review applications as they come in, and invite candidates we’re interested in speaking with for a telephone interview. The telephone interview will usually be with one person from Eleven, and they will ask questions about your experience and interest in the role. This is also a good opportunity for you to ask any initial questions.

We’ll then shortlist 2-5 candidates for a face to face interview. This interview is usually in person but can be facilitated virtually, if required.

The face to face interview will involve a panel of 2-3 people from Eleven. They will ask questions that give you the opportunity to demonstrate your relevant experience and suitability for the role.

As part of the interview you will deliver a short presentation, which you will have been asked to prepare in advance. There will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions.

When all the interviews are complete, all candidates will be updated on the outcome of the process. We’re happy to provide feedback to anyone who has had a telephone or face to face interview.
