Clare has nearly twenty years’ experience in marketing strategy for the public and third sectors. As Founder and Managing Director at Eleven, Clare’s specialities include strategic thinking, brand development, stakeholder engagement and campaign planning.
Dan Muir
Head of Creative
With 11 years’ agency-side experience, Dan has crafted compelling brands, content and campaigns for a wide range of ambitious brands and organisations – including the likes of Transport for Greater Manchester and Manchester Pride. Dan’s favourite part of the design process is finding that needle-in-the-haystack ‘hook’ that will drive a creative concept or narrative, making for a memorable campaign.
Ella Cooper
Head of Operations
With over five years’ agency-side experience across purpose-driven marketing and healthcare, having worked for Havas Lynx, Ella supports account handlers with project planning and offers strategic support on projects. Ella manages our agency’s Operations team.

Account Manager
Emily is an accomplished Account Manager, bringing a unique blend of expertise in client services and a deep understanding of human behaviour – rooted in a degree in Psychology. With a passion for cultivating strong relationships, Emily’s strategic and empathetic approach enables her to anticipate client needs and provide tailored solutions that deliver great results.
Harley Thomson
Senior Creative
Harley has over 8 years’ experience of creative graphic design for print and digital channels especially for HE and NDPB organisations, and is highly experienced at concept development and ideation to communicate key messages that solve marketing communications problems – and that are easily understood. His extensive experience also means that he’s an expert in finalising files and production.

Head of Client Services
Jane is Eleven’s Head of Client Services and has worked agency-side for over twenty-five years, working with clients such as Channel 4, Hyundai and Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust. A skilled strategist, she enjoys digging into your brief and suggesting alternative approaches to deliver your objectives.
Joy Pendleton
Senior Account Director
Joy has worked in creative agencies for over 20 years, starting as a designer until she found her home in Client Services 15 years ago. Joy has worked with brands such as University of Cumbria, NHS England, Arcadis Gen, Innocent and Fever-Tree. Joy is deeply passionate about her work and finds great enjoyment in collaborating with fascinating individuals and brands that make a difference.
Julie Neilson
Head of Strategy
Julie has over 20 years’ agency experience and is passionate about uncovering people’s inner motivations to understand and apply the drivers of behavioural change. She brings a breadth of perspective from working across a number of industry sectors and clients, and her favourite projects include encouraging people to stop smoking; helping ethnic minority audiences to access mental health services and boosting teacher recruitment.

With a background in English Literature and scientific marketing, Leo is proficient at digging into the technicalities of a project to meet all aspects of a brief. Focused on detail, Leo will liaise closely with you and internal teams to deliver projects to the highest of standards.
Liz Ostrowski
Account Director
Liz has a wealth of creative project management experience – creating content to engage, inform and educate audiences on behalf of charities across the UK, including NSPCC, Prince’s Trust, IVCC and WRAP. Liz will proactively drive this project forward on your behalf, managing the internal teams to deliver high quality assets for you.
Mark Critchley
Artwork & Accessibility Lead
Mark has over 16 years’ design, art working and video editing experience, gained at some of the UK’s most respected agencies, including McCann Medical. Mark carries out detailed quality control checks for all creative that passes through our design studio. Mark is also an accessible design specialist, so he will ensure your work is fully accessible to WCAG.2 AA standards.
Melanie Hurst
Sales and Marketing Lead
Melanie is a marketing graduate with 18 years’ experience working within the marketing and communications industry. As Eleven’s Sales and Marketing Lead, Melanie leads all sales and marketing activity for Eleven – with a focus on building our agency’s reputation and converting leads – to meet our new business targets.

Sarah is a Chartered Institute of Marketing accredited professional with eight years’ agency-side experience.
