This topic was both complex and progressive.

So we aimed to design a report that felt inclusive, clear and accessible while being lively and engaging.

With a dual professional and public audience in mind, we developed a creative approach grounded in colour duality. This choice visually challenged conventional narratives around sexuality and brought to life the diverse experiences shared in the study. Through a duotone theme, enriched with imagery, impactful quotes, and accessible data visualisations, we turned the academic into the approachable – making complex findings both engaging and easy to navigate.

To add context, we built a timeline of key Covid-related milestones, including infection rates, political shifts, and regional lockdown rules across the UK> Working closely with the University’s experts, we carefully crafted alt text for all visuals to authentically and respectfully represent the diversity of identities in the report.

Besides a happy client, the project was widely shared across multiple platforms and positioned the University of Salford as a thought leader within the space of behaviour and sexuality.

“A very big thank you for all the work you and the team have put into the report for us. And also for your kindness and flexibility. We are all over the moon with how it turned out and your team have been crucial to that.”
